Musa thomsonii
(Bhutan Banana, Himalaya Banana)
One new banana from Northeastern India and Bhutan, becomes 12 to 15 feet tall. The hardiness is not tested yet and is therefore completely unknown, but Bhutan is one country in the Himalayan Mountains too. The high leaves of the flowers shall be very ornamental and rich red. The fruits shall be sweet and edible and contain seeds. This species was introduced by Tobias Spanner in the past years.
